Good morning, Edgerton.
Handcrafted confections and artisan bakery — right here on Main Street.
Come on inSpronk Confectionery And Artisan Bakkerij began with a simple conviction: that the best things are made slowly, by hand, with ingredients you can actually name.
Our bakers arrive before dawn. Our confectioners fold, temper, and shape each piece with the kind of attention that can't be rushed. The result is something you notice immediately — the flake of a properly laminated croissant, the snap of dark chocolate that's been tempered by feel, the crust on a loaf that sings when you break it.
We've been a part of Edgerton's main street for as long as most folks here can remember, and we intend to keep showing up every morning with flour on our aprons and warmth in the oven.
Our breads rest. We use natural starters and cold fermentation times that develop flavor no shortcut can replicate. The crust, the crumb, the complexity — all earned.
Every bonbon, truffle, and bar is hand-tempered to the correct crystalline structure. That glossy finish and clean snap? That's discipline, not technology.
Our menu shifts with what's available and what's right. Strawberry shortbread in June. Spice cake in October. We let the calendar guide the oven.
We bake what we can sell, not what we can warehouse. That means freshness at closing time that most places can't even imagine at opening.
Sourdough, rye, focaccia, baguettes, and seasonal loaves — all baked on the premises, all from scratch, all meant to be eaten the day they're made.
Croissants, Danish, tartes, éclairs, and petit fours. Laminated dough folded by hand every morning. Butter is the only shortening we trust.
Truffles, pralines, chocolate bars, caramels, and seasonal candy. Each piece finished by hand and finished right.
Stay for a coffee, an espresso, or a glass of wine. Pair it with something from the case. Pull up a chair. The morning has nowhere else to take you.
